How God has been building my faith through the years

  1. The Lord has been guiding me continually like he said in Isaiah 58:11~
    "And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not."
  2. The Lord has provided wonderful network of support,spiritually, through family and friends.
  3. The Lord stood by His promises in many many instances.
  4. He made my enemies to dwell in peace with me.
  5. After marriage, I began to face life in earnest and discovered that life is never happily ever after.Through every situation God gave me His love and support.
  6. We had trouble with Raj's visa papers and God delivered us out of it.
  7. We were apprehensive about his getting a visa, God heard our prayers and enabled Raj to go.
  8. The Lord enabled us to join Raj as a family.
  9. Through Sharon's pregnancy,God guided us on to the right path and kept us safe.
  10. He enabled me to go to India for delivery among loved ones.
  11. He answered prayers for Sharon and he kept Sharon safe through a nasty fall I had during 8th month of pregnancy.
  12. The Lord brought us out through many visa issues.
  13. The Lord enabled us to see so many places in the USA~Chicago,Florida,Texas,Iowa,Virginia,New Jersey,New York,Connecticut, California.
  14. He gave us beautiful children with extremely good health and behaviour.
  15. The Lord brought me out of depression quicker than usual and through the situation(that brought on the depression) wihtout any repercussions.
  16. The Lord was so good to us through the years as he sustained us through much needed job at the right times.
  17. When green card dates were closing, He did the unthinkable--- He reopened the dates for our applications to be submitted in time.
  18. The Lord kept us safe as per His promises through earthquakes,thunderstorms, tornadoes, floods,blizzards, fire.
  19. God answered our prayers.He was and is always faithful and good toward us~ALL THE TIME!!
  20. The Lord promises to educate my children himself. Isaiah 54:13 “I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace” God is faithful toward this promise in that our children have been blessed with intelligence and wisdom and they have been incredibly blessed with good schools,education and good scores in their tests.
  21. God's continued goodness through different trials in my life and the lessons He is teaching, the way He is drawing us closer and leading in the right direction everyday.

God's wonderful promises

Blessed is she who has BELEIVED that what the LORD has said to her will be accomplished !" Luke 1:45. And Abram BELEIVED the Lord and the Lord declared him RIGHTEOUS because of his faith Gen 15:6. Refreshing through reflection of God's unfailing love.

“When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:18-19 NIV How many times I was in this very situation.The stress,worry,agony was so great at different times.Countless! And every time I look back on them I see the signature of the Lord....of having held my hand and brought me through safe and sound.So many such times I have wondered ..why cant I have faith like patriarchs like Abraham,Moses,King David.... and contemporary heroes of faith as well whose lives have left an indelible impression on me. Yet when one looks back and wonders at the work of God's hands,I find that it is in reflecting on God's goodness that faith grows.Ps 118 says His love endures forever!Not now, not for ten seconds, not for ten minutes, a year or a decade but ...FOREVER!
