Things I would do as a parent
1.Encourage them in the right direction.
2.Allow them to make mistakes and learn from them.
3.Pray for them constantly over their education,career,future, life partner, their life to be a blessing to others,exemplary behaviour,protection from all harm and evil.
4.Remind my children what kind of genes they are made up of....solid,strong,dependable,intelligent,make wise choices,know whats best for them.
5.They are strong enough on the inside to say NO.
6.To please God and not people.
7. Let them know the importance of boundaries in life.
8. To let them operate independently a little by little by trusting them age-appropriate wise.They learn from their mistakes and/or gain more confidence in themselves.
9.Learn self defense when required.
10. Stand firm in the face of bullies. Not to be cowed by them.
11.Bless them everyday.
