Refreshing along the way

When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:18-19 NIV How many times I was in this very situation.The stress,worry,agony was so great at different times.Countless! And every time I look back on them I see the signature of the Lord....of having held my hand and brought me through safe and sound.So many such times I have wondered ..why cant I have faith like patriarchs like Abraham,Moses,King David.... and contemporary heroes of faith as well whose lives have left an indelible impression on me. Yet when one looks back and wonders at the work of God's hands,I find that it is in reflecting on God's goodness that faith grows.Ps 118 says His love endures forever!Not now, not for ten seconds, not for ten minutes, a year or a decade but ...FOREVER! Because,when you look to Him, all fears,anxieties, failures will fade away. You will be Strengthened like never before.He will give you beauty for your ashes and crown you with loving kindness and tender mercies. Today as I opened my heart and my mind and with my spiritual eyes looked to God's face all those negative things dissolved. I praise and thank God for that. Point to Ponder: Did you see a face worth looking at and that face inspires you to do just anything for them?There is no face like that on planet Earth.The only FACE that inspires you toward spiritual excellence is the face of Jesus.

1.I am amazed. I always thought my faith level should come to a place something similar to our patriarch Moses or David. Maybe I am not up to that level yet but I can see God honing me. Every time I am depressed or down I pray and encourage myself just like David did. This is not intended as a boast but I guess the rightest response in every circumstance.It builds faith,it gives hope. 2. God loves me and He has never let go of my hand no matter my rebellion , my disobedience , my failures my shortcomings.He has always encouraged me through His word, sometimes through people who released God's word to me at the time I needed help. I know I will never leave God .Its just that I never realized that.At one time I even asked for a sign and He even answered me through that. Our God is an awesome God who loves us so much .Thank you Lord.

My older daughter Pranu always has a habit of thinking into the future ...of her career choices and all that at 12 years of age. Many times I encouraged her to think in that direction but later I felt I shouldnt make her pressurized about her future while she still has to enjoy today.So I just prompt her to slow down. Rocky happened to visit us one day and soon Pranu raised the topic of the "future" again. Rocky then said the following beautiful and meaningful message, small but full of richness of God's wisdom. The bible says His word is a lamp unto my feet. The lamp sheds light in a limited area.That means God gives grace as much as it is necessary for us to handle our troubles. The lamp does not shed light maybe 100 meters away or 1 mile away or 1000 miles away but just right where we are. As we go along ,we are led by His lamp which gives us sufficient grace to endure and overcome and support right where we are. Tomorrow if we travel the 100 meters, or 1 mile or 1000

Gal 2:20 I have had a marvellous day today.God has been so good to me since this morning. By the power of His grace, I managed to fill in the eluding technical gaps and at the end of the day, I felt very productive and I give all thanks to God. He banished the everyday fear that was lurking in me and replaced it with confidence to go forth and shine. Its amazing when you are under the shadow of His wings, how many miracles you see when you are truly there every minute of the day.

Imagine two circles. One is a big circle where God's presence abides. The other is a circle where every rottenness abide----bitterness,negativity,greed,selfishness,impatience,anger,hatred,licentiousness,all fleshly things abhorrent to God etc Which circle would you like to be?If you stand in God's circle, God himself is your Vindicator,Redeemer,Rewarder,Judge,Protector,PromiseKeeper,Shepherd...and He will be to you whom you want Him to be. He fights our battles for us.You will live in peace. If you are in the other circle where you are standing in a muck of bitterness/negativity/greed/selfishness/impatience/anger/hatred/licentiousness/whatever is not of faith there is no one to help you out of your situation. Not even satan will help you there.This is temporal circle where there is only destruction and that is satan's goal.You will know no peace. Your God given life opportunity is wasted in the muck.
