Refreshing through reflection of God's unfailing love.

“When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:18-19 NIV

How many times I was in this very situation.The stress,worry,agony was so great at different times.Countless! And every time I look back on them I see the signature of the Lord....of having held my hand and brought me through safe and sound.So many such times I have wondered ..why cant I have faith like patriarchs like Abraham,Moses,King David.... and contemporary heroes of faith as well whose lives have left an indelible impression on me.
Yet when one looks back and wonders at the work of God's hands,I find that it is in reflecting on God's goodness that faith grows.Ps 118 says His love endures forever!Not now, not for ten seconds, not for ten minutes, a year or a decade but ...FOREVER! Praise God.Happy are the people whose God is the Lord.
Yes as King David says in the verse above,His unfailing love has supported me through all the greatest moments of anxiety.

Looking forward to 2013 with a different perspective

So far I have always been focused on just asking God for things and receiving them.As I enter 2013 I would like to live more sacrificially and in my love walk with God. There is a big list of things I would like to do and hope I will live my life better with joy, peace through everything, loving others and improving quality in the way that I live.

Things that make me smile/happy....

In my quest to encourage myself I was blog hopping as I said in my post earlier and there was this blog that had a "list of ten things that make you happy".Well making this list is bringing a smile on my face(been having teary eyed since morning).Hence this post. List of things that make me happy. 1.Rocky--she is my strong little rock...who is always there for me as my mom when I am in need. God is the Huge Rock. 2.My two little girls -developing cute little wings. 3.cuddling with my family. 4.my little porcelain basket holding my make up. 5.Smiles from anybody. 6.A newborn baby 7.Ramblings of a 2 yr old and how she establishes us as her own. 8.The best quote that makes me smile that someone said,"I have made beautiful babies!" ...this list will continue.
